There's always something new happening in this hub of activity. From jamming with global artists to watching NBA games with Houston Rockets, you will find something new happening there each time you visit. Some notable musicians like Madonna, One Direction, and Britney Spears have played in the center. It was named after the Japanese automobile manufacturer Toyota.

Not only this, the center has a shop for Houston Rockets merchandise. For the first decade after its opening, the center was home to minor league hockey teams.

Established in October 2003, the area has been a set point for sports and entertainment. It has become one of the biggest premier live entertainment venues in the nation. Designed by the HOK sports and entertainment group, the center is highlighted by large open windows and the most comfortable seats of any arena globally. Additionally, three separate floors feature private club lounges for court side seat holders and floor seat concerts. Ever since its opening in 2003, the center has set a standard for sports and entertainment.

It consists of over 18,000 seats for basketballs, 17000 seats for ice hockey games, and approximately 19,000 seats for musical concerts and shows. Additionally, the area has a range of venue rental options, including suites, red and White Wine Bistro, the Lexus Lounge, entry pavilion, and more.
